My Story

1967 to 2007
aged: 39
From: Birkenhead

Graham Hill born 22/08/67 in plymouth. He was 1 of 6 children ,2 boys and 4 girls. Grays mum had 2 sets of twins,Graham was born inbetween them. Grahams family moved to Birkenhead when Graham was 3years of age. He never forgot his plymouth roots and followed his beloved plymouth argyl football team to the anoyance of Liverpool and Tranmere rover fans. Graham was a very funny lad he would light up a room when he walked in. You would get addicted to him he had the looks and charm to go with it. Most people called him a lovable rogue. I fell for graham when i was 15 years of age. He was 18 we would of been together 23years this christmas and married for 4. We had 2 beautiful girls together Kayleigh 19 and Danielle15 are 1st grandchild is on his way, i say his because we know its a little boy Kayleigh's going to call him Josef Graham. Thankgod Graham knew he was so excited when he saw the scan pictures, that picture is now with graham among lots of other things. Grahams illness was called alcholasem. People dont reconise it as a illness because its self inflicked i watched my gray beat him self up for years over it. Graham had a great life we had lots of holidays he had a brilliant job life was good. He would stop drinking for months on end. There would be a trigger to start him drinkin again. We tried to get him help but it did not come fast enough our NHS system failed him , and robbed me of my husband and our daughters of a great dad. He was a very special person always there to help other people inspite of his own problems he has left such a great big hole in peoples lifes he had touched. The day of Grahams funeral proved how much he was loved by everybody, their were people having to stand in church because their were no seats left, A lot of people showed their respects towards Graham by wearing football shirts instead of black suits. He was pulled along in a black gold horse and carriage and the sun shone down brightly on him. It was Friday 13th everybody had a laugh at that and the day before the grand national, their wasn't a lot Graham didn't know about horse racing or football, he has always said if he didn't meet me he would have been a professional footballer. He has always been such a fit and sporty person he would give anyone a run for their money when it came to tennis or snooker with Graham their always had to be a bet involved and he always had to win but their was one battle in his life he couldn't beat but he fought and fought to stay with us, he was to young to die. Our lives are empty now we spend our days at the cemetry just asking why this has happened to us, why God has taken a truly special person like everyone says God only takes the best and the best he has taken. People keep saying he is still with us i want to belive that is true. Just waiting for his headstone that his big sister Jackey has bought him, his other sister Julie has been a tower of strength to us as well as Graham's inlaws. Please look after us from above gray and protect us as you always have. Love you forever Mandy, Kayleigh and Danielle .ps.i must thank grahams mum and dad if they had not moved to the wirral i would not of met their son and had 23 great years and 2 lovely daughters sleep tight gray i will see u in my dreams xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx xxxxxxxxxxx
